Life, experience, and wisdom

How do I start? So many thoughts in my head! A little anger, alot of frustration and sometimes wanting to knock sense into people!

So to start off there are three scriptures I want to share. "The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom" Proverbs 1:7 and "For the wisdom of this world is foolishness to God." I Corinthians 3:19 and finally, "Let the older women teach the younger" Titus 2:4

I know when I was younger I thought I knew it all. That I didn't need the wisdom of older people. I learned quickly that that was not so. THAT began the real growth.

Nothing is so great as to listen to someone in their 70's or 80's or even older things they experienced in life, how they handled things that happened to them, how they lived in their younger days and what the world was like! So much great knowledge can be gleaned that way. It is also good to talk to those who have come from a so-called "bad" background and turned things around in their life and how they did it.

It amazes me how some of the younger people ridicule the elders, think they are nuts in their opinions of things. Truth is, they are living in the wisdom of THIS world and this world is wicked and evil! I want to further explain it, so that MAYBE some young hearts and minds will open their minds and ears to what "real" truth is.

God created this world, but Satan the fallen angel has done all he can to destroy God's creation. Man is his target. If he can get people's minds twisted to think that evil is good, then he's won half the battle! God desires that mankind love HIM and do what is right. It's not that God wants to dominate in the negative sense of the word, but that he knows what is best for us and wants to protect us from making decisions that will harm us and others we love.

For example, when a man views pornography, it controls his mind after awhile, and he needs more and eventually will act it out. Many wives are abused because of it, little girls, even babies are molested because of it. Some will argue that's not so, but if you could read the records of molestors you will find that somewhere in there life the effect of pornography was there, whether in their personal life, or a family members who molested them. Pornography is nothing more than a twisted version of sex that God created between a man and his wife. Satan ALWAYS takes what is good and destroys it!

When you warn the young people about what they view, listen to and partake of, they blow you off like you are old-fashioned or stupid! NOT SO! We have seen and experienced people whose lives have been destroyed by things that may start off as innocent, but in the end it leads to destruction.

What is more frightening though, are those who say they go to church and live a good life, and are christian. When you pull out the Word of God, that Christians believe ( or should believe in) they get irate and call you a Bible thumper! How can a christian who shares the good things of God, and uses his word to teach and direct a person in the way to go, and to warn, be a bible thumper? IF you are a Christian, then the Bible should be loved by you, God's will should be your desire. If it is not your outlook, then something is wrong in your relationship with God. It's not a go to church on Sunday, then do what ever you want all week thing! Jesus said that if you live like that, you make him sick..and he just vomits you out! Doesn't sound like a good thing, but a warning of how you live SHOULD matter!

When you allow things to come into you mind and heart that are sinful and evil, it will eventually hurt you. But more than that ..it saddens the heart of God.

For example, there is much good out there, like music, and some movies and activities. But there also are those things in those genre that are sinful and NOT good. Much of the music today, whether country, rock or pop is full of immorality, cheating, drugs, drinking, and even some which promote sex with demons ( aliens..see my former blog on this subject). Movies are full of ridicule of Christians, making fun of them, making them out to be evil, hateful people. sadly ..many christians watch and buy into all of it too. There are activities which are good, like fishing and camping, etc, but if it takes you away from the meeting with other christians on the day of worship on a regular basis, then it is wrong!

Yep, I'm old but I've seen what happens to people when they allow these things to come into their lives. After being in the ministry for years, we have had to deal with people whose lives have been ruined because of alcohol abuse, physcial abuse, broken homes, infidelity, and other things. ALL of them thought it wouldn't hurt, because it was fun or whatever, but soon it destroyed their lives. Satan fools people all the time, and they get hooked!

You may think you live a good life, and don't do certain things, but if you allow the devil to get a foothold, he will take more and more of your mind and heart until he has you completely.

It's not judgmental to say these things, it is part of the OLD women teaching the younger ones how to be a person for Christ. It is trying to help you see, that things of this world will destroy you if not under the control of God in your life. The first scripture says the Fear of the Lord is the BEGINNING of wisdom. Fear is a good thing because it will keep you on the right path, because God gives and takes life. He decides your path in life and if you go that way your life will be blessed. Pleasing God should be our first thought each day.

The world says one thing..that sin is okay! In God's eyes that is pure foolishness! The wisdom of THIS world is foolishness in his eyes! He knows what is good and right, the world teaches otherwise.

This old women is trying to help younger women learn that God's ways are best! HIS word is our guide, not what your friends say is okay, liberal teaching in our schools and colleges, what tv, radio, music, movies, and especially hollywood personnel! Most of them give wrong advice and most are anti-god or anti-christian. Many have so called "spiritual " beliefs, but they are not Biblical based, but rather new age, eastern, and other false religious beliefs. The source of false religion is who?? Not God or Christ, but Lucifer himself.

Take the advice of this old women.... Read the Bible! Learn what God says, pray and ask Him for guidance and direction! Go to a Bible believing, preaching church and get involved! Make sure you have given your heart to Christ totally and let Him be your guide! Then and ONLY then will your wisdom begin to grow! then when you are old..you can instruct the younger women!

Is it new, real or a bunch of crazy people

Before you think I've lost it, please read and hear me out. I know I post stuff that may seem strange or even controversial at times. I just have an "inquiring" mind I guess. There are just some things that must have explanations and I want to know what they are. One of those subjects is the ufo/alien subject. Many say they aren't real, they don't exist. Yet, you see video and news reports of thousands of people who see them, hundreds at a time even, like the one in Phoenex, az lately. On Jan 4th this year 2011, a huge one like the one in Phoenix was seen over Lima, Peru for over half an hour! So what is with this?? It cannot be hundreds of people's imagination at one time! some mass hallucination. So just what IS going on?

Recently I read a trilogy of books by L. A. Marzulli called Nephlim. For those who know the Bible, the Nephlim were giants who were on earth in the days of Noah. They were fallen angels who found the daughters of man beautiful and had relations with them. The result was the Nephlim. The Bible also says in the last days it will be as the days of Noah. The book series opened up a new thought process on just what the aliens really are. they are demonic. He claims they will be part of, if not, the Great Deception that is to come in the last days.

think about it. The world is chaotic. There have been more natural disasters, floods in Australia, earthquakes..even here in Indiana, dead fish washing up by the semi loads on shores, birds in several places around the world dropping dead right out of the sky. The word is a good source of what will happen. Look at this scripture..is it not the headlines of today?

Hosea 4

1 Hear the word of the LORD, O children of Israel, for the LORD has a controversy with the inhabitants of the land. There is no faithfulness or steadfast love, and no knowledge of God in the land; 2 there is swearing, lying, murder, stealing, and committing adultery; they break all bounds, and bloodshed follows bloodshed. 3 Therefore the land mourns, and all who dwell in it languish, andalso the beasts of the field and the birds of the heavens, and even the fish of the sea are taken away.

Just what is going on? The world's economic situation is the worst it's ever been. Jobs are hard to find, people are losing hope all over the world.

PEOPLE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE TO STEP UP AND HAVE THE ANSWERS!

Now..look at this scenerio...

How many people have you heard say, maybe the aliens will come and save the world!? How many tv shows in the past 10 yrs have been along this line? V for one.. they bring all the medical cures, hope to people...and how many are sucked into it? The world is looking for a savior!

Alien abductions are reported all the time. L.A. also has a book where he interviewed 17 people who claim to have been abducted, some of which had the implants many claim. He had a doctor who was not a believer in such things remove one from one of these victims. What he found made him a believer! The book is called THe Alien Interviews. it is available thru his website at: http://www.lamarzulli.net/index.htm Are these things fakes? if so then how do we explain it when the item is there? These implants are also known to move under the skin when they are trying to be removed! ***(Note to Marzulli: Do I get royalties for helping to sell your book?? LOL )

Alien Abductions.. strange?? yes! True?? Think about this. When the rapture takes place, how will it be explained to the world?? They aren't going to report the Jesus came for the believers! but alien abductions?? Yes, and I think people will believe it!

The great deception. It will be false religion. People who have been abducted have been told that God doesn't exist and other lies. marzulli and several others like Tom Horn and Stewart Best, believe that they will be the ones to show up all over the world and bring the world together claiming that THEY fabricated the story of God. That they came from another world in space to populate the earth and that we are the seed of them!

I know this sounds far-fetched and all, but what does the Bible say? Luke 21 speaks of the signs of the end, earthquakes, wars everywhere, famine, pestilence, and signs in the heavens, and the sun, moon and stars.

The Apostle Paul wrote to the Church at Ephesus that "Our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places" (Ephesians 6:12). God will send on them a deluding spirit so that they will believe what is false and will be judged (2Thess. 2:11). Satan is the prince of the power of the air (Ephesians 2:2) and his dominions control the skies above us and fill our minds with delusions and lies.

I'm not saying that he is the All authority, as there are many others with this thought in mind, but I've listened to his testimony, and read some of his material and it is well researched.

Remember..the Lord Jesus will return to earth and take his faithful followers with him. Signs are saying it may be soon! Read the Bible along with the newspaper and tell me He isn't coming soon! But most importantly... are you ready? Have YOU accepted Him as your savior?? Not just saying "yeah, I believe in God" but a PERSONAL relationship with him?

If not.. 1. Recognize that you have sinned. If you have broken ANY of the 10 commandments ..you have sinned!

2. Realize that in no way can YOU forgive your sin..it takes a Savior.

3. With your whole heart believe that Jesus came as a sinless sacrifice to die on the cross for all the wrong you

have done!

4. Pray and ask Jesus to forgive you, and to come into your heart.

THen:: find a church where the Bible is taught! Where scriptures are expounded on..not some book the pastor has read recently, but where the Word is opened and preached from! PRAY often ! Read the Bible..get a modern translation if you have trouble understanding Shakespeare language which is what the King James is written in.. I would suggest the NEw King James (in modern language) or the New International Version. A good study bible is very helpful !

Surround yourself with other Bible believing Christians! You will need their teaching and support and prayers!
